Lithuania's Foreign Minister Landsbergis received the outgoing Israeli Ambassador to Lithuania
On 4 August, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania Gabrielius Landsbergis bade farewell to the outgoing Israeli Ambassador to Lithuania Yossef Levy.
During the meeting, the Foreign Minister welcomed excellent bilateral relations between Lithuania and Israel, and thanked the Ambassador for his personal contribution to the development of friendly and fruitful bilateral ties between businesses, academic communities, and cultural exchanges of the two countries. The meeting also focused on the Holocaust remembrance and Lithuanian Jewish heritage, possibilities for further cooperation between Lithuania and Israel, consequences of Russia’s global aggression against Ukraine, and other issues.
Yossef Levy presented his letters of credence to the President of the Republic of Lithuania Gitanas Nausėda on 28 August 2019.
